The batteries in your Club Car golf cart will typically last between 4 and 6 years. In order to get the longest life possible, it's important that you maintain your golf cart batteries properly. Regular charging is incredibly important. You should ideally charge your batteries any time they drop below 50% of their total charge. Never allow a golf car battery to sit in an undercharged state for any length of time as this can lead to sulfation, which will shorten its lifespan considerably. You'll also want to avoid overcharging your battery, as this can damage the components inside, leading to premature battery failure.
If you use flooded batteries in your Club Car golf cart, you need to maintain the electrolyte inside them. Check the liquid levels of a flooded battery about once a month and if the levels are low, top them off with distilled or deionized water. If you have AGM or lithium batteries in your Club Car golf cart, you don't need to do this, since those battery types are completely sealed.
