This Energizer Industrial Lithium battery is assembled using Grade A LiFePO4 cells. The IP67-rated case is lighter and more compact than traditional lead or other single packs, reducing the overall footprint in your cart.

The battery uses a software BMS with standard protection functions like cell balancing, overcharge, over-discharge, overcurrent, and low/high temperature. The BMS also handles more complex tasks like health monitoring, and analysis to optimize performance.

Important Lithium Safety Warnings and Warranty Details

• A Software Battery Management System (BMS) controls power to and from the battery pack to reduce the risk of overcurrent and overcharge.
• Lithium batteries are intended as replacements for deep cycle applications only; they are not for use as a cranking/starting battery.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If a cart requires conversion and utilizes any lighting, or sound accessories that operate on 12V power, a voltage reducer is required for safe operation.

Each lithium battery includes a 5-Year Limited Warranty. The warranty process may involve battery repair, or replacement credit, depending on the claim.

Older golf carts weren’t built with lithium batteries in mind. Fortunately, the conversion process is relatively easy. In addition to your new batteries, you’ll need:

• Lithium Compatible Charger: Lithium specific, this 48V 18A unit is compatible with the Energizer Industrial Lithium battery
• Brackets: These brackets are designed to properly fit and support the battery installation in the most common carts.
• AC Charge Port: These can be mounted directly on the cart to connect the charger to an AC outlet for convenient recharging between drives.

All of the above accessories are sold separately. In addition, we recommend using safety equipment like safety glasses, steel toe shoes, and gloves as part of your installation process. Depending on your exact cart make and model, you may also need cordless drill, drill bits or hole saw bits, screwdriver bits, torque wrench, socket extensions, pliers, zip ties, and electrical tape.
